Discord Bot Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Discord bot operated for Bedwars Practice ("the Bot") processes information when providing integration, moderation, communication, and other server functionality.

Information We Process

The Bot may process basic information provided through Discord, including Discord user IDs, usernames, server membership, roles, and other information required to provide its functionality.

Users may voluntarily link their Discord account with their Minecraft account. When a user chooses to do so, the Bot may store:

  • Discord user ID and username;
  • Minecraft username and UUID;
  • account linking information; and
  • Discord server boosting status.

This integration is opt-in.

The Bot may also process Discord message content where required to provide interactive features. Message content from the public-facing Bedwars Practice Discord server is not stored.

Certain internal staff communications may be processed and retained where necessary to provide moderation functionality, staff communication, and communication between Discord and the Bedwars Practice Minecraft server. This processing relates to internal staff tools and is not used for advertising or profiling.

How We Use Information

Information processed by the Bot is used only to provide and operate its features. This includes:

  • linking Discord and Minecraft accounts;
  • synchronising applicable Discord roles and in-game ranks;
  • providing benefits associated with Discord server boosting;
  • responding to relevant Discord events such as members joining the server;
  • enabling communication and moderation tools used by staff; and
  • providing commands, responses, and other interactive Bot functionality.

The Bot does not use collected information for advertising and does not sell personal information.

Data Sharing

Information may be transferred between the Bot and Bedwars Practice's associated Minecraft server and systems where necessary to provide the functionality described above.

We do not sell personal information or provide it to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Discord itself processes information independently in accordance with Discord's own terms and privacy policy.

Data Retention

Public-facing Discord message content is not retained by the Bot.

Account integration data is retained while required to provide the linked-account functionality or until it is no longer required or deletion is requested, where applicable.

Information associated with internal staff moderation and communication tools may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for moderation, operational, or record-keeping purposes.

Data Deletion and Privacy Requests

Users may request deletion of information associated with them by contacting Bedwars Practice staff through the server's support or ticket systems, by contacting an appropriate staff member, or by emailing: support@voxyl.net.

Requests will be handled where applicable to the information held by the Bot.

Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect stored information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Access to internal moderation information is restricted to authorised staff where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated where the Bot's functionality or data-processing practices change. The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
